With my family over for a picnic this weekend they decided that they wanted to have pizza. So I decided I would make one of the cali’flour Pizza crusts that I had purchased so I could have pizza too and still stay on my Keto macros.
I had yet to try the Red Pepper Crust so I decided I would give it a whirl. I baked as instructed and topped my Pizza with sauce, Mozzerella cheese, pepperoni and banana peppers.
The taste was fine. Slight heat from the red pepper flakes, nothing crazy. All of their crusts are very thin and you can not go crazy with lots of sauce and toppings or the crust will not hold up. One thing I have noticed is that the crusts are hard to remove from their individual packaging. You must pull them apart very slowly and methodically or else rip the crust. Otherwise everything is perfect.
So far my favorite is the Italian crust, then the Jalapeño crust and then the Red Pepper. I believe I have one more flavor to try yet. You can read my Cali’flour Italian Pizza Crust review
