Built Puffs Strawberry Marshmallow Review

Built Bar has relaunched and rebranded and made some changes to their formula. They have returned to a formula more consistent with their original bar. That means that as of now we are back to the 100% real dark chocolate coating, the inside of the bar is the more smooth marshmallow-like texture. They have also increased the protein from 15 to 17 to 19 grams depending on the flavor and ingredients. Most of the bars are about 130 calories each but that again also depends on the flavor. They have kept the bars low in sugar, 4-5 grams of sugar per bar and are relying on erythritol for added sweetness. As always they are gluten-free, use no preservatives and use natural flavors.

Built just announced they are releasing a new line of products called Built Puffs, these are very similar to the original Built Bars but with a completely light, airy marshmallow center.

I had the chance to taste test a sample and I must say these were good. True to firm the center is light airy marshmallow. It reminded me of a candy bar I had once but can’t put my finger on the name. The third flavor I tried was the Strawberry Marshmallow. It was coated in Built’s rich dark chocolate and the Strawberry flavor was in the marshmallow filling. If you like Built Bars but would like something lighter in texture these might be for you. This was my favorite flavors of the puffs with Vanilla coming in second.

If you prefer a softer texture let your bar sit out on the counter for awhile, if you prefer it more firm then leave it in the fridge.
